This Artwork is one of the most recent works in Artist Soku Sounds (Byron Brown II's) collection. Created on a very large roll of canvas taped to the wall in his Downtown studio, Soku intended this work to symbolize him and his feelings in relation to his hometown while operating under an alias to maneuver seamlessly through the night. The tears that set the backdrop have become a common motif in his work. This print focuses in on a key piece of a larger body of work to highlight the seclusion, responsibility and expectations the city has given the artist.
